At present, after a general development that seems to have gone unchecked, humanity needs to better and more deeply analyze its relationship with nature and the world. As JFK said, “All mankind is on this small planet and we are here for a short time,” and taking into account Albert Einstein’s view that “Energy is the real basis for the existence of everything,” we can say that a policy of proper utilization of energy sources and control of the environmental impact of human activities is very important.
But the current climate change rules suggest that we should seek a new policy in the exploitation of energy, especially we should carry out a major replacement of old fossil energy sources with renewable ones.
The exploitation of biomass, waste and wind sources may be able to ensure a more proper development of human activities all over the world.
Sustainability and proper exploitation of energy sources can thus be the key words to ensure a proper future for present and future humanity “on this small planet.”
Guidelines for the planned courses
The planned courses are aimed at users in the areas of “Introduction to Energy Systems,” for example, in the field of mechanical engineering or environmental engineering. It should also offer entry into first degree courses in Science and Energy programmes. They may also be useful in the fields of energy management and energy systems economics.
The Foundation Diploma holders are granted direct automatic entry to the Bachelor Degree programmes awarded by CIRPS Member Universities.
